๐Ÿงช Suit Crafting Guide - Materials, Crates & Health

How suit crafting works in Marvel's Wolverine: Material Crate materials, the 20-suit health track and the economy that feeds them.

Quick Answer: How Suit Crafting Works

Crafting happens in the Suits menu (Touchpad) and spends materials you collect from Material Crates โ€” 68 of them across the campaign's 30 missions. Every craft upgrades your health; 20 crafts (standard suits only) fully upgrade it and pay out the Adamantium Armory trophy. Crates pulse blue and hum through the DualSense when you are close, and the Crate Finder Adaptation makes hunting them trivial.

The Crate Economy

Sixty-eight crates is generous on purpose: you do not need all of them to craft the 20 health-track suits, but you do need all of them for the Crate Collector trophy and the complete wardrobe. The cleanup flow after the story: Nightmare Cabin > interact with the bed > pick a mission > the picture-frame checklist shows exactly which collectibles each level still owes you.

  • Crates pulse blue and rumble the controller โ€” hunt with ears as much as eyes.
  • Crate Finder Adaptation (unlocks through play) puts crates on your senses at range.
  • Mission replay carries collectibles over โ€” nothing is missable, ever.

What NOT to Worry About

Two non-problems: Deluxe DLC suits not counting toward the 20-suit trophy (by design โ€” the tracker only reads standard suits), and crafting order (the health track is cumulative; craft whatever you can afford, whenever you can afford it). The only real mistake is hoarding materials โ€” an uncrafted suit is banked health you have not spent.
